Panther Media: December 19, 2014





Hey panthers! There is only one more day left till we are out of school for two weeks! So this week Ridge News has teamed up with WPRP to create a special 2014 Combined Holiday Show presented by +Panther Media Productions. So first, we kick of the show with +Alex Locke and +Dyneesha Beason (Ridge News) with Panthers on the Go with the subject: "What will you be doing over Winter break?." Next +willaim wooldridge (Billy) (Ridge News) updates us on the weather forecast up until Christmas.
Then +Jayla Pugh (Ridge News) host's this weeks Student Shout out on the Wizard of Oz charters. After that, we go to +Jailen Leavell (Ridge News) with Panther Sports. Lastly for Ridge News we have a Clay-mation by Victoria Baker and Destiny Coomes from the Multimedia class.

Next we start off the WPRP section with the ECE Class Penguin Dance by Katie Hack (WPRP)! Then, a PSA for Louisville's Youth Film Festival on trust also by Katie Hack (WPRP). Then we get a look at the EMT Specialists with Madison and Joey (WPRP). After that we have a segment about other holidays that people celebrate over the break by Dayana and Muhja. (WPRP)

Ridge News, December 5, 2014



Welcome to the 10th edition of Ridge News! First off our meteorologist +willaim wooldridge (Billy) is an anchor today and his apprentice +Dominic Bushnell is taking over. Then we go to Panther Sports with +Jailen Leavell. The girls and boys Basketball team, Both teams play valley tonight! After that we go to +Jayla Pugh with the Student Spotlight on the 3D Art Class. Then later a club spotlight on the Future Problem solving club. It's really interesting, you don't want to miss it! And Lastly +Dyneesha Beason rounds up the news.

Welcome to Ridge News! We only have today and tomorrow then were out of school for the rest of the week! Lets see what's new at the Ridge. First, with +Alicia Coyle we find out what some students at PRP are thankful for. +Dominic Bushnell and +Abby Anderson are thankful for the long weekend comming up. What are you thankful for? Next, +willaim wooldridge (Billy) tells us the updated forecast for the week. After that, we go to Panther Sports with +Jailen Leavell to get an update on, the Baseball, Bowling, and then we have an amazing interview with PRP Quarterback Drew Duckworth. After that we pitch off to +Jayla Pugh with the first Student Shout out to Lilly Wilkins, Reece LaMaster, Drew Hill, +Brandon LaDuke+Malik Jones, Taylor Gray, Kelaiah Clark, Kara Barnett and Morgan Tilton. Congratulations to you all!

    This week on Ridge News we now hae a brand new Title Sequence created by +Brandon LaDuke+Tyler Kinslow and +Michael cadreau. First off we have +Alicia Coyle and +Dyneesha Beason on the go finding out what new goals our Panthers have this new trimester. Next, we take a look at "Game's Club" a segment created by +lucas estep. After that, +willaim wooldridge "Billy" updates us on this chilly weather for the upcoming week. Then Later, on Panther Sports with +Jailen Leavell we get a look at the; PRP vs. Central football game last week, also the Bowling team played J-town tuesday night and I think they did an amazing job! Lastly before we go check out this time lapse of the Ohio River mdae by Cody Cox.

    Ridge News, Halloween 2014 edition



    Having a spooky Halloween? Well lets check out this episode of Ridge News to find out whats been going on this week at PRP.

    First off we have a look at PRP's Trick or Treating event that took place here at PRP last Thursday. Next, +Dyneesha Beason and Ameldina Emic went over to Greenwood Elementary for an Anti-Bulling segment.     Welcome back Panthers! It's been a two weeks since our last episode, and now we're back with Dyneesha Beason and Ameldina Emic!

    First off, Jailen Levell gives us a look at the annual PRP Tradition, the Junior/Senior Powder Puff game and a look at more traditional football, PRP vs. Seneca. and the district soccer tournament was held here Wednesday night. Then Alicia Coyle goes around the world and looks at the Ebola Outbreak. Next, Billy Wooldridge updates un on this weeks weather forecast. After that Jayla Pugh is the Panther on the Prowl asking PRP students and staff think the out come will be on the PRP vs. Butler game. Who do you think will win the game?     We're sorry about our technical difficulties this morning.

    This week on Ridge News, Our first club spotlight of the year is the Social Justice Club with Dyneesha Beason. Then the Military Club accepted this challenge. Meanwhile, Sydney Smith and Alicia Coyle fall asleep... then, Matt Dawson and Abby Anderson are the "Panthers on the go" asking PRP students how many hours of sleep they get a night. Research shows that teenagers need at least 9-10 hours a night. After that we have a guest Editorial from our Multimedia 1 class. and lastly Dominic Bushnell fills in for our meteorologist, Billy Wooldridge this week.

    "Hitch Bot"
    This week on Ridge News, Abby Anderson and Matt Dawson host the show. First up we got a new segment, All Around The world (In 30 Seconds), with AAA, we start out with Canada where the "Hitch Bot" A hitchhiking robot that traveled from one coast to the other. Then after that where back in our studio with our meteorologist Billy Wooldridge giving you a quick look at the weather for the upcoming week. Then later, Jayla Pugh is the Panther on the go! The topic: Fashion.


    Don't forget we have a football game against Manuel tonight at 7:30! Also Sophomores don't forget about the ACT Plan Wednesday. Get some sleep.
