And an interview with one of our Basketball players. After that our Meteorologist +willaim wooldridge (Billy) gives us the update on the weather for the week. Next we have a guest segment on college's and transcripts. Then later, +Jayla Pugh with our weekly shoutout, featuring Julie Nichelson who has been selected the coach of the year for the Girls Bowling Team for the state of Kentucky. First off we start with a club spotlight by +lucas estep on Fandom Club! Fandom Club meets on in room 303 from 2:30 to 3:30 on Thursdays. Next up is +Jailen Leavell with a score update on the sports here at the Ridge. After that +willaim wooldridge (Billy) gives us an update on the weather. And lastly, a look into the making of the PRP shirts that we all wear at some point plus some interviews with some of the students making them with +Jailen Leavell.

Panther Media: December 19, 2014

Hey panthers! There is only one more day left till we are out of school for two weeks! So this week Ridge News has teamed up with WPRP to create a special 2014 Combined Holiday Show presented by +Panther Media Productions. So first, we kick of the show with +Alex Locke and +Dyneesha Beason (Ridge News) with Panthers on the Go with the subject: "What will you be doing over Winter break?." Next +willaim wooldridge (Billy) (Ridge News) updates us on the weather forecast up until Christmas.
Then +Jayla Pugh (Ridge News) host's this weeks Student Shout out on the Wizard of Oz charters. After that, we go to +Jailen Leavell (Ridge News) with Panther Sports. Lastly for Ridge News we have a Clay-mation by Victoria Baker and Destiny Coomes from the Multimedia class.

Next we start off the WPRP section with the ECE Class Penguin Dance by Katie Hack (WPRP)! Then, a PSA for Louisville's Youth Film Festival on trust also by Katie Hack (WPRP). Then we get a look at the EMT Specialists with Madison and Joey (WPRP). After that we have a segment about other holidays that people celebrate over the break by Dayana and Muhja. (WPRP)

This week on Ridge News we now hae a brand new Title Sequence created by +Brandon LaDuke, +Tyler Kinslow and +Michael cadreau. First off we have +Alicia Coyle and +Dyneesha Beason on the go finding out what new goals our Panthers have this new trimester. Next, we take a look at "Game's Club" a segment created by +lucas estep. After that, +willaim wooldridge "Billy" updates us on this chilly weather for the upcoming week. Then Later, on Panther Sports with +Jailen Leavell we get a look at the; PRP vs. Central football game last week, also the Bowling team played J-town tuesday night and I think they did an amazing job! Lastly before we go check out this time lapse of the Ohio River mdae by Cody Cox.

After that, here's Jailen Levell with Panther Sports, A update on the big rivalry vs. Butler last week, The boys and girls Soccer team, The Bowling teams scrimmage, and tonight the football team plays Southern, please come out and support the Black Hole! "Hitch Bot"

This week on Ridge News, Abby Anderson and Matt Dawson host the show. First up we got a new segment, All Around The world (In 30 Seconds), with AAA, we start out with Canada where the "Hitch Bot" A hitchhiking robot that traveled from one coast to the other. Then after that where back in our studio with our meteorologist Billy Wooldridge giving you a quick look at the weather for the upcoming week. Then later, Jayla Pugh is the Panther on the go! The topic: Fashion.


Don't forget we have a football game against Manuel tonight at 7:30! Also Sophomores don't forget about the ACT Plan Wednesday. Get some sleep.

UPDATE (7:50): Sorry about a few technical difficulties. We are working on resolving them as soon as possible. Also we are sorry that Man on The prowl did not air this week we will have it back up and running next week.

Welcome back Panthers! We are now airing in TRUE HIGH DEFINITION! Hope everyone is safe getting to school right now.

To kick us off this year we take a look at the differences between Ridge News and WPRP with Emily Downey. Then a quick look at the sports at PRP. After that Robert Pinkston looks at some new years resolutions in Man on the Prowl. Johnathan Peck also has a PSA about getting good grades. JCPS has canceled school for Tomorrow due to extreme cold.

"Due to the forecast for dangerously cold morning temperatures, all Jefferson County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 7." -JCPS

JCPS Closed Monday, January 6th, 2014

It looks like we get an extra day off before we go back to school. JCPS is closed for Monday, January 6th, 2014 due to extreme weather conditions that we have not experienced in 15 years. Let us know what you think about the decision to call off school in the comments.
