Welcome to this edition of Ridge News! First we look at the weather with our Meteorologist Billy Wooldridge. Next we get to talk PRP's Senior captains of our wrestling team! After that Robert Pinkston is the Man on the Prowl asking who PRP students are predicting on winning the Super Bowl! Then Billy Wooldridge is back! This time he is demonstrating a way to keep your head phones from getting tangled up in your pocket in this weeks Tech Tip! After that, Katelyn Wimsett talks about a Random act of kindness that she spotted herself! Watch to find out who! Lastly we have had a special viewer that we would like to give a shout-out to, Pleasant Ridge Park Elementary School! We also have a clip from one of their newscasts! Thanks for joining us!

Ridge News January 17, 2014

Welcome back Panthers! We are now airing in TRUE HIGH DEFINITION! Hope everyone is safe getting to school right now.


To kick us off this year we take a look at the differences between Ridge News and WPRP with Emily Downey. Then a quick look at the sports at PRP. After that Robert Pinkston looks at some new years resolutions in Man on the Prowl. Johnathan Peck also has a PSA about getting good grades. JCPS has canceled school for Tomorrow due to extreme cold.
"Due to the forecast for dangerously cold morning temperatures, all Jefferson County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 7." -JCPS

It looks like we get an extra day off before we go back to school. JCPS is closed for Monday, January 6th, 2014 due to extreme weather conditions that we have not experienced in 15 years. Let us know what you think about the decision to call off school in the comments.
